SeaWorld Abu Dhabi | The Region’s First Marine-Life Theme Park on Yas Island
Opened in 2023, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the Middle East’s first dedicated marine-life theme park and one of Yas Island’s flagship attractions. Spread across eight immersive realms, it brings together record-breaking aquarium habitats, more than 15 rides, live shows and interactive animal experiences into a full day out for families, couples and animal lovers.
Inside the eight realms
The park is organised into eight connected realms, each recreating a different marine environment and together home to around 150 species:
- Endless Ocean – the centrepiece, home to the world’s largest multi-species aquarium (over 25 million litres of water and tens of thousands of marine animals), viewed through more than 20 windows including a vast circular observation deck.
- Polar Ocean – Arctic and Antarctic habitats with puffins, sea otters, walruses and several species of penguin.
- Tropical Ocean, MicroOcean and One Ocean – colourful reef life, tiny creatures seen up close, and the park’s signature shows and rides.
Who it’s for
SeaWorld suits every age. Younger children love the animal encounters and gentle rides, while older visitors get thrill rides and the sheer scale of the Endless Ocean aquarium. The main habitats are fully indoor and climate-controlled, so it’s comfortable to visit year-round.
Getting there
SeaWorld sits on Yas Island, roughly 20 minutes from central Abu Dhabi and about 50 minutes from Dubai, right beside Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World – so it’s easy to combine into a multi-park trip.
